Serai at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is the flagship outlet of the Malaysian fine-dining restaurant group that specialises in elevated Malay and Indonesian cuisine. Located on Level 6 of Pavilion Elite at Lot 6.01.02, the restaurant presents traditional regional dishes in a refined contemporary setting, with dark wood furnishings, batik-inspired accents, and attentive service that together create an atmosphere more formal than the typical mall dining experience.

The menu is anchored by two signature dishes: the Daging Salai Masak Lemak Cili Api, featuring smoked beef in a rich, fiery turmeric-coconut gravy, and the Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak, river catfish cooked in fermented durian paste. Other highlights include Rendang Daging, Ayam Percik, and various sambal-accompanied rice sets. The kitchen sources ingredients with care — the tempoyak is house-made, and the salai (smoked) meat is prepared traditionally. Desserts such as pengat pisang and serawa durian provide a proper Malay finish to the meal.

Serai Pavilion operates from 10am to 10pm daily. The restaurant is halal-certified and is considered one of the more accomplished Malay fine-dining options in the city. Reservations are recommended for dinner and weekends. Pavilion Elite is accessible via the Bukit Bintang MRT station.
