Waited over an hour just for two dishes: prawn paste chicken and hotplate BBQ stingray. When I politely asked how much longer it would take, the staff responded with attitude and refused to give a clear answer. Eventually, I requested to …

this probably goes down as one of the worst dinner i had in 2019. firstly, i felt that it was overpriced. the stingray was $20 but didn't had much meat. oyster egg was a disaster. the only 2 dishes that was edible to me was the vegetable and the deep fried baby squid. No way i will return to dine here again.

I came really late on a Friday and thought the stingray was really good! Thought we did wait for quite a while even at non-peak hour. It’s soft and not drying like other stall so I was shock to see such bad rating. I would come back to try other dishes and for the stingray - only $15 and big pieces.

A typical sea food hawker stall in Changi village. Fried Lala, Sting curry and kangkong all tasted same souse though the names were different. Sting curry fish was well cooked. No pork or lard is available.

The store is situated at the back of Changi village and the atmosphere is nice. The food ? Not so much. We ordered sambal stingray , baby kailan and requested 3 plain rice. - sambal stingray : sambal clearly not cooked properly , not spicy and it is just literally a spread of sambal over a beautiful fish. The fish the over cooked and you can tell it’s not thawed properly. - baby kailan : over salted raw veggies and uncooked garlic.. with sauce, they nicely cut the carrots to look appealing but the taste, not worth it - rice : semi cooked Basically , in my opinion ? Come to the back to sit and enjoy the breeze where the store is located but to eat their food ? Maybe not. You can taste the disappointment of their chef. It is like the chef has no love in cooking anymore.. a pity because I am sure this is a legacy store who could have been once popular because .. for a stall to have 2 stalls might have meant it was good once before.. in my opinion.
