Today we decided to eat nasi kandar. We got a Grab ride to NU Sentral to try Penang Kayu’s. Restaurant is clean with an outdoor kind of seating arrangement. It’s not cheap these days to eat Nasi Kandar ! Portions were average. The thosai though was huge and they serve it with the coconut samba which is great.

It's Nasi Kandar in the mall, so expect to pay mall prices. You're not eating on the sidewalk with your hands. However, I didn't expect 29 bucks for a small piece (wing part) of chicken. The food itself was good, but not 29 bucks good. Three-fiddy for kobis... I should've went across the street instead.

Scammer alert! Be careful when going to this restaurant. They always change the price and hike the price like no body’s business. As per the review a lot of people was scammed especially foreigners. Are you serious 6.50 for milo panas? And 3.50 for 1roti canai? Reported this issue to KPDN. Hope action can be taken soon!!!!
