Hidden Wonders of Malaysia at Aquaria KLCC ends 31 Oktober 2026. Kementerian Perpaduan Negara's 14 October 2026 visit note, after Ketua Setiausaha Dato' Haslina binti Abdul Hamid walked the floor, counts 72 preserved specimens. Jabatan Muzium Malaysia loaned them through Muzium Alam Semula Jadi. The four groups on that page are mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians, and fish. The aquarium sits under KL Convention Centre, a short walk from Suria KLCC, 阳光广场, and Menara Berkembar PETRONAS, 国油双峰塔.
This is a ticketed aquarium exhibition, not a Suria Centre Court pop-up and not Ombak. Galeri PETRONAS left Suria in July 2026. Do not hunt for the gallery on Level 3 on the way to the tanks.
Four houses, one standard ticket
The Sun on 25 September 2026 described an AI-powered House System in four rooms: House of Mammalogy, House of Ornithology, House of Herpetology and House of Ichthyology. That piece counted 51 specimens and replicas, and said admission is included in a standard Aquaria ticket. The ministry's later figure is 72. I am using 72. The Sun's house names match the wall copy in the fish room, including House of Ichthyology on the panel next to the grouper mount.
Jabatan Muzium Malaysia's 10 September 2026 media statement, issued for the launch, framed the three-month campaign as a taxidermy loan plus Aquaria's live tanks. Timbalan Ketua Pengarah Dasar Mohamad Shawali Hj. Badi spoke at that launch. Aquawalk Group executive chairman Dato' Simon Foong was listed as present. The 14 October ministry photograph still shows "1 August to 31 October 2026" on the screen behind the book handover.
Hours, MyKad tickets, the walk from the mall
Aquaria's homepage lists 10:00 to 20:00 daily, last entry 19:00. The 90-metre tunnel is the usual family stop: green sea turtles, sand tiger sharks, giant groupers. The aquarium puts about 5,000 living exhibits across 60,000 sq ft. Hidden Wonders sits on that same paid floor. You do not buy a second ticket for the stuffed houses.
Tickets.aquariaklcc.com lists MyKad SKUs from RM56. A general-admission SKU on the same landing page is RM82. Adult, child and senior bands sit on that site. Buy before you queue. The door is at KL Convention Centre, not the Suria Centre Court glass. From KLCC LRT on the Kelana Jaya Line, stay on the concourse and walk toward the convention centre rather than up into the luxury floors.
If you are already in 阳光广场, this is the indoor hour for kids while the mall itself runs 10:00 to 22:00. Petrosains is still on Suria Level 4 and still closes many Mondays. Check petrosains.com.my if you want both in one day. The exhibition closes this Saturday 31 October 2026. After that the tanks stay. The specimen houses go back to the museum.
The Sun's other useful line is that younger visitors can follow the four houses without treating it as a silent museum corridor. That matches what the ministry wants out of Visit Malaysia 2026: a public look at collections that usually sit in storage. I would not leave this for Saturday afternoon. Last entry is 19:00, and the convention-centre queue is the part that eats the clock.
