As someone who spent good amount of money on a gift for her birthday, I’m beyond frustrated. The staff at Kate Spade TRX clearly made a mistake, yet had the audacity to claim we wrote it wrongly. After double-checking, it was painfully obvious that he simply couldn’t tell the difference between letters. Basic reading skill, is that really too much to expect from luxury retail staff? And the “solution”? Handing over some ugly, cheap tag like it’s supposed to make up for ruining a birthday gift. Then throwing out a half-hearted, robotic “sorry” with zero sincerity, zero accountability, zero compensation, and zero regret. If this is what they call customer service, it’s laughable. Honestly, I was speechless in the store. I chose not to ruin the birthday mood, but if I had reacted the way I felt, it wouldn’t have been pretty. To be clear: the bag itself was perfect, and Ms. Ain at Kate Spade IOI City Mall is an absolute gem. This review is not an attack on Kate Spade as a brand. The issue lies squarely with one incompetent staff member at Kate Spade TRX who shouldn’t even be allowed near customers.
